How to deal with difficult people

Chris Gaborit < 1 min read

In an ideal world, difficult behaviours have no place at work. However, in reality, dealing with difficult people is something many people face as part of their everyday work life. The stress of handling difficult people and difficult situations can create a lack of productivity, poor attitude and reluctance to come to work.

The first step in handling difficult behaviour is to identify it and try to understand why somebody might be acting this way. In understanding, you can approach the person in a positive way, appealing to their interests and in doing so learn how to curb or manage their behaviour effectively.

This eBook gives you an overview of different kinds of difficult people as well as practical management tools and skills to use within day-to-day interactions.
